The office space market tips towards “normal”

Everybody in commercial real estate is being so much more pleasant to each other than they had been in the past few years.  People answer their phones, respond to email requests, and generally seem to care about what Tenants want.

This is very different from the atmosphere that pervaded the marketplace up until about 3 or 4 months ago.  And, in this new environment, tenants should flourish (or at least feel better about the office space deals they are making or are about to make).  Rents are starting to reach levels where a normal businessperson operating a normal business can expect to make a normal amount of profit based on a normal amount of rent.

Landlords suddenly value the individual tenant – in fact they are appreciative for the attention and generally are working towards making market driven deals (when there are deals to be made).
